The cicadas are out early this year and it's a great indicator of the warmer months to come! Breakfast needs to be satisfying, filling, quick to make, tasty and sometimes lighter when it's so hot, so welcome - The Mango Lassi
1 large ripe mango (the riper the sweeter)
1 t ground cardamom
Milk of choice(full cream, soy, rice, almond - bear in mind almond can sometimes overpower the lassi flavour) and amount depends on how thick you like your lassi
Raw honey if your mango is more sour than sweet
1 T chia seeds for sprinkling over the top
Add all ingredients (except chi seeds) to blender and process till smooth, serve in a tall glass sprinkled with chia seeds over the top and extra mango slices if you like.
